My Apps and requests
Launch apps, request temporary access, reach servers and reveal shared secrets.
After sign-in you land on your dashboard. Its navigation: My Apps, Request Access, My Servers, Secrets and Settings.
My Apps
Every app assigned to you, directly or through a group, appears as a tile. Use Search your apps to filter. Selecting a tile signs you in to the app (SAML apps sign you in directly from IdRa). A dashed tile means the app has no sign-in URL yet: open the app from its own website instead.
An app can still ask you to verify again, or refuse access, depending on your organization's policies (for example from an unknown network or an unmanaged device).
Request Access
Need an app or a server you don't have? Request temporary membership of the group that grants it.
- In Request Access, the Request access tab lists the groups open for requests and how long you can ask for (Up to). Select Request, give a Reason and a Duration (minutes) (5 minutes minimum).
- An approver gets an email. Track the status, or cancel a pending request, in My requests.
- When approved, you get access for the requested time; it is removed automatically afterwards.
If you're an approver, Waiting on me lists requests you can approve or deny.
My Servers
Lists the servers you can SSH into, the accounts you can log in as, and a ready-to-copy command for the idra CLI. IdRa issues a certificate valid for at most 10 minutes each time you connect.
Secrets
Credentials your administrators share with your groups (the vault). Reveal shows a secret (you may need to verify again first) and Copy secret copies it. Every reveal is recorded.
Partner portal
If you're an administrator of a partner organization, your IdRa address also has a partner portal at /partner, where you manage your organization's members, invitations, identity provider, applications and System Log. Invitations to a partner organization arrive by email.
